Good conversation training

Differences of opinion can cause rifts between family members and friends. We teach people how to have frank conversations without endangering important relationships

“I stopped talking to an old friend of mine because he keeps deriding the church.”

“Since the last election we rarely visit the in-laws.”

“Mom keeps instructing me how
I should raise my children. I no longer feel like calling her.”

What skills we teach?

  1. How express what is on your mind so that others understand you and your arguments do not get them angry.

  2. How to ask questions to better understand people around you and not provoke disputes.

  3. How to listen to what other people are really trying to say.

  4. How to keep your emotions in check when someone’s views are annoying you.

  5. How to guide the conversation in such a way as so that strengthen your relationship.

What does the training session look like?

  1. 12 people meet on Zoom. The meeting is managed by two moderators.

  2. We make brief introductions and try to get to know each other better.

  4. We will do a series of practical exercises on specific skills useful in conversations with relatives, friends or at work.

  5. We will conclude and look at what we have learned together.

  • Typically, there are between 10 and 12 participants and two moderators. Such group ensures that the presented views are diverse and we are able to do all the exercises.

  • The practice session is conducted by professional facilitators and social psychologists qualified to work with a group.

  • You can expect people who, like you, are interested in having better, more productive conversations. The training is open to people from all over Poland.

  • Participation in the practice session requires you to be active: you need to turn on the webcam, talk to other participants and get involved in exercises, which include group and pair activities. It is impossible to just observe the training without active participation.
